Volunteering for Conservation and Environmental activities in Histon and Impington is rewarding, fun and a great way to meet new friends and get fit. No prior experience is necessary. Tools are provided. As a volunteer you are welcome to work for as long as you like and as frequently or infrequently as you like.
Many varied projects in the last year have included:Felling dead trees, Planting a new hedge and trees around the Copse, Laying wood chip paths, Dismantling the railway gate-keeper’s hut so that it may be rebuilt, Daffodil planting & Ivy Removal.
