Many thanks for everyone’s help to get all the bulbs planted last Saturday.
Next Spring we should have a lovely display of mixed bulbs on the corner of Clay Close Lane/Impington Lane and a splash of yellow daffodils alongside the wall leading to Burgoynes Farm Close. Also thanks to Erika and her trailer, we managed to kill several birds with one stone – not literally of course! We removed some of the surplus soil from around the Crossing Keeper’s Hut, then used it to cover the bulbs and in so doing leveled the verge. this’ll make the grass cutters job easier too!
Providing the weather is dry, we’ll be meeting up this weekend in order to finish painting the fascias and doing a spot of tidying up in readiness for a “topping out” of the Hut.
If you can spare any time it’d be much appreciated. As usual all tools and refreshments will be provided – just simply turn up 🙂
