Since it’s reconstruction in 2009 the historic railway crossing keeper’s hut has become a location for village events including an annual visit from Santa. The hut and surrounding areas in the Copse are a regular place where the enviro volunteers can be found working away on Saturday mornings. We have a blog page on the move of the railway keeps hut.
Working parties around the hut usually centre around events such as a visit from Santa, and are combined with events from the Copse.
